Vibration vs Hypertension

One in three Malaysians has high blood pressure. Whole Body Vertical Vibration(WBVV) or Whole Body Periodic Acceleration(WBPA) can help to dilate blood vessels, reduce the pressure in the blood vessels, and thus reduce the risk of high blood pressure.

Vertical vibration will stimulate and increase the release of nitric oxide(NO) from vascular endothelial cells. Nitric oxide can expand blood vessels, reduce the resistance of blood vessels so that the blood flow goes smoother and lower blood pressure. Besides that, endothelial cells will be secreted nitric oxide. It has anti-inflammatory effects, cholesterol does not stick to the endothelium of blood vessels that easily, which is less likely to cause hardening or blockage of blood vessels. In addition to reducing arteriosclerosis, vertical vibration can also promote peripheral blood circulation. In short, vertical vibration helps to control blood pressure, and also relax and dilate blood vessels throughout the body.
